It is a joy to welcome Alex Bonsall and Sammy Smith into the family of Highland Baptist Church. It was also a joy to dedicate Kate Robinson and Jillian Bonsall to the Lord. Let’s continue to pray for America and for the families in America.

   “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16 AKJV)

   It is our joy and responsibility to shine the light of the Gospel into a dark world. Unfortunately, America is becoming a dark place in many respects. You don’t have to be a prophet to see it. The President of the United States has come out to endorse homosexual behavior and wants the laws of the land to reflect this. Here is a good question. Will this be enough to bring the people of our church and other churches to our knees or will we act as if all is all right with the world? This will say more than what the President said. Time will tell.  

   I’m glad I’m saved. Jesus is the Light of the World and our lives.

   God Wins! Was there ever any doubt?
