“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that does good.” (Psalms 53:1 AKJV)

Don’t be foolish. God is and we are all accountable to Him.

Monday, October 24, 2011

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14 AKJV)

Satan can make evil look so good but it is so hurtful. Obey God and don’t listen to the lies of the devil.

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

“Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21 AKJV)

Evil will always be evil no matter how you spin it. Evil will destroy us and others. Think it over.

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.” (Isaiah 2:17 AKJV)

We shouldn’t think too highly of ourselves. We are fragile and in the process of dying. Our faith needs to be in God.

Thursday, October 27, 2011

“Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18 AKJV)

The Lord can cleanse and forgive any sin. Repent and confess your sin before God and be set free.

Friday, October 28, 2011

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalms 51:10 AKJV)

This would be a wonderful prayer for anyone on any day. Pray it today and everyday.

Saturday, October 29, 2011

“Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7 AKJV)

Be a giver and do it with a heart of joy. God loves a cheerful giver.

Sunday, October 30, 2011

“Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.” (Psalms 49:16-17 AKJV)

Don’t be impressed with wealth and the wealthy. They are no different than anyone else. Life is fragile and it is coming to an end on this earth.

Monday, October 31, 2011

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 AKJV)

Solomon, the wisest man to ever live penned these words. Take it to heart.

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” (Ecclesiastes 7:8 AKJV)

Anybody can start but the key is to finish strong. Keep going. Don’t give up.

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

“It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.” (Ecclesiastes 7:2 AKJV)

It is good to go to a funeral every now and again. It gives life perspective.

Thursday, November 3, 2011

“Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14 AKJV)

Here is a word to the wise. Don’t enter into relationships that don’t honor God.

Friday, November 4, 2011

“For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 AKJV)

This is the greatest news for mankind. Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we could be made right in the eyes of God. Thank you Jesus.

Saturday, November 5, 2011

“What time I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.” (Psalms 56:3-4 AKJV)

We are in good hands when we are in God’s Hands. Think it over.

Sunday, November 6, 2011

“Labor not to be rich: cease from your own wisdom. Will you set your eyes on that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.” (Proverbs 23:4-5 AKJV)

Don’t put your trust in riches. Put your trust in God.

Monday, November 7, 2011

“And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 AKJV)

Our weaknesses give us an opportunity to experience God’s strength. Give your burden to the Lord.

Tuesday, November 8, 2011

“And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6:3 AKJV)

God will never cease to be less than holy. He will never condone sin.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7 AKJV)

You can’t fool God. What you sow, you will reap.

Thursday, November 10, 2011

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long–suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23 AKJV)

We need people filled with the Spirit of God in our world today. We need all the virtues listed above.

Friday, November 11, 2011

“Why the Lord said, For as much as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:” (Isaiah 29:13 AKJV)

Do you have a heart for God or do you just say the words? Think it over.

Saturday, November 12, 2011

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 AKJV)

Do you want peace? Focus on the Lord and not on your problems.

Sunday, November 13, 2011

“We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.” (Psalms 78:4 AKJV)

Have you told your children and grandchildren about God and His faithfulness to you? Do it now. You may not have another opportunity.

Monday, November 14, 2011

“Thus said the LORD, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” (Jeremiah 6:16 AKJV)

We may not need the good old days but we sure need the good old ways. Let’s get back to God and His Word. We need it and our children need it.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

“They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” (Jeremiah 6:14 AKJV)

We can declare with words that all is right and hide the reality of the fact that all is not right. Sin is our problem and Jesus is our solution. We need to pray and seek the Lord now.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

“For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are silly children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.” (Jeremiah 4:22 AKJV)

This sounds like our world today. We need God’s help and we need it now. Pray.

Thursday, November 17, 2011

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AKJV)

God specializes in meeting the needs of the human heart. Pray to Him now in Jesus’ name and see what He can do.

Friday, November 18, 2011

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 AKJV)

God can do in a second what we couldn’t do in a million years. Let Him work in your life. He will give us power that makes a difference.

Saturday, November 19, 2011

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 AKJV)

Pray about it. Give it to God. He will give you peace in the midst of the storm.

Sunday, November 20, 2011

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4 AKJV)

Think about this. If we get our joy from the Lord and He never changes, we can have joy all the time. Think it over.

Monday, November 21, 2011

“Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8 AKJV)

Think about the good things. It will make a difference in your approach to life.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

“Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-5 AKJV)

You are no accident. God knew you before you were born. Life is sacred from the womb to the tomb.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

“Why God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 AKJV)

This is a picture of the future. Will you confess Jesus as your Lord or your judge? Think it over.

Thursday, November 24, 2011

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21 AKJV)

This is the true Christian life. Are you a Christian?

Friday, November 25, 2011

“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2 AKJV)

Unconfessed sin may be blocking your prayers. Repent and confess. God will hear your prayer.

Saturday, November 26, 2011

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.” (Ephesians 6:1 AKJV)

Parents, teach your children to obey. They will be winners. It will serve them well through life.
