"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged." (Colossians 3:18-21 AKJV)

Many homes could be healed if we just followed God's teaching for relationships. Think it over.

Monday, December 8, 2008

"But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation." (Jeremiah 10:10 AKJV)

There is only one true God and He is the Lord. We are all accountable to Him.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

"If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:1-2 AKJV)

Christians are citizens of Heaven. Our priority should be the will of God.

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

"Thus said the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, said the LORD." (Jeremiah 9:23-24 AKJV)

The real treasure of life is to know the Lord who created us and loves us.

Thursday, December 11, 2008

"Behold, you trust in lying words, that cannot profit." (Jeremiah 7:8 AKJV)

Truth is a precious commodity. Don't sell your soul for a lie. Trust the Lord. He is truth.

Friday, December 12, 2008

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." (Psalms 84:11 AKJV)

Walk with God and watch Him care for you. He knows what is best for all of us.

Saturday, December 13, 2008

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 AKJV)

Disbelieving the truth can have devastating outcomes. Trust God. Believe God. When you do, you will walk in the light of the truth. Think it over.

Sunday, December 14 , 2008

"Am I a God at hand, said the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? said the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? said the LORD." (Jeremiah 23:23-24 AKJV)

God is ever present. We can't fool Him. Is He happy with us and our actions?

Monday, December 15, 2008

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Why comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 AKJV)

I have good news for God's people. Jesus is coming back. Are you one of God's people?

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." (Jeremiah 17:9-10 AKJV)

Self deception is the worst deception. We are sinners in need of holy God. Confess your sins to the Lord and let Him forgive and cleanse your life. Then you will see things as they really are.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008

"Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8 AKJV)

The Lord can bring stability and fruitfulness to every life that will submit to Him.

Thursday, December 18, 2008

"But you, LORD, are most high for ever more. For, see, your enemies, O LORD, for, see, your enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered." (Psalms 92:8-9 AKJV)

Honor the Lord. He is God and there is none other. Those opposed to God will meet their day of Judgment.

Friday, December 19, 2008

"Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even to bonds; but the word of God is not bound." (2 Timothy 2:8-9 AKJV)

You can't stop the Word of God. It will go on forever. It is eternal.

Saturday, December 20, 2008

"I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." (Psalms 91:2 AKJV)

It is wonderful and inspirational to know that we belong to God. He has everything under control.

Sunday, December 21, 2008

"Because it is written, Be you holy; for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:16 AKJV)

Be glad that God is holy. Can you imagine what kind of world this would be if He were not? Believers are commanded to follow His example.

Monday, December 22, 2008

"But to the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows." (Hebrews 1:8-9 AKJV)

God loves righteousness and hates sin. This will never change. Think it over.

Tuesday, December 23, 2008

"I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not stick to me. A fraudulent heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person." (Psalms 101:3-4 AKJV)

Here is a good new year's resolution to consider in the days to come.

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

"And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21 AKJV)

Jesus came into this world to save sinners from an eternal Hell. Do you love Jesus? Do your actions show it?

Thursday, December 25, 2008

"And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented to him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh." (Matthew 2:11 AKJV)

What are you giving Jesus for His birthday? He is worthy of our best.

Friday, December 26, 2008

"For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs to me, I will recompense, said the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (Hebrews 10:30-31 AKJV)

God means business and one day we will stand before Him. Are you ready to meet your maker? The only way you can be ready is to commit your all to Jesus. Think it over.

Saturday, December 27, 2008

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25 AKJV)

Christians love to be with other Christians worshipping and serving the Lord Jesus. Are you a Christian?

Sunday, December 28, 2008

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." (Psalms 107:20 AKJV)

God's Word can bring healing and restoration to the soul. Take time to read your Bible.

Monday, December 29, 2008

"Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;" (Psalms 107:2 AKJV)

God's people are glad to be His children. Tell someone what Jesus means to you. They need Him too.

Tuesday, December 30, 2008

"And they served their idols: which were a snare to them." (Psalms 106:36 AKJV)

Sin exacts a terrible price. Repent of sin and serve the Lord. He will bless your life.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008

"And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul." (Psalms 106:15 AKJV)

God will sometimes give us what we want although He knows it is not best for us. When this happens we lose that close fellowship with Him. We must repent and trust God. He knows what is best for us.

Thursday, January 1, 2009

"Boast not yourself of to morrow; for you know not what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1 AKJV)

You have today but you may not have tomorrow. Are you ready to meet the Lord? Take care of this eternal business today. Give your life to Jesus who died for your sins and arose from the dead.

Friday, January 2, 2009

"They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity." (Ezekiel 7:19 AKJV)

Silver and gold will not help on the day of Judgment. You must know and love the Lord.

Saturday, January 3, 2009

"Whoever digs a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolls a stone, it will return on him." (Proverbs 26:27 AKJV)

Troublemakers make the most trouble for themselves. Think it over.

Sunday, January 4, 2009

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13 AKJV)

You can't hide from God. He knows. Is He pleased in what He sees in your life?

Monday, January 5, 2009

"So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." (Hebrews 3:19 AKJV)

Knowing about God and truly committing ourselves to God are two entirely different things. Are you really a believer in Jesus? Think it over.

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

"While it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." (Hebrews 3:15 AKJV)

When God speaks we need to listen and obey. If we disobey, we harden our hearts against God and that is a dangerous place to be.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

"For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God." (Hebrews 3:4 AKJV)

God created this universe and He created you. Get this right and life will come to make sense and have purpose.

Thursday, January 8, 2009

"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalms 103:12 AKJV)

It is wonderful to be forgiven by God. He will forgive you too. You don't have to carry that burden. Give it to the Lord.

Friday, January 9, 2009

"But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him?" (Hebrews 2:6 AKJV)

When we think about the size of the universe that God made, it is truly amazing that He knows us and loves us. God loves you.

Saturday, January 10, 2009

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:" (Psalms 103:1-2 AKJV)

Take time to thank and praise the Lord for His goodness to you and yours. He is worthy to be praised.
