“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalms 27:1 AKJV)

The Lord will give you the courage you need. Look to Him and obey Him.

Monday, September 29, 2008

“I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.” (Psalms 26:5 AKJV)

Living for the Lord means that we must make choices to avoid evil. How are you doing?

Tuesday, September 30, 2008
“The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD has made even both of them.” (Proverbs 20:12 AKJV)

God knows what is going on in our lives. He made hearing and seeing. Is He pleased with you?

Wednesday, October 1, 2008
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalms 24:1 AKJV)

The world does not revolve around us. This is God’s world and we are accountable to Him.

Thursday, October 2, 2008
“For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.” (Romans 14:7 AKJV)

Your life always affects others. What kind of influence are you leaving for your family and friends?

Friday, October 3, 2008
“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12 AKJV)

Time is going fast. What are you doing for the kingdom of God? Do it now. You may not have tomorrow.

Saturday, October 4, 2008
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, said the Lord.” (Romans 12:19 AKJV)

Don’t take vengeance. God will take care of all matters. Walk with God and He will take care of you.

Sunday, October 5, 2008
“Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?” (Proverbs 20:24 AKJV)

Life won’t make sense until we align ourselves with God. He has a plan and purpose for all His creation.

Monday, October 6, 2008
“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.” (Psalms 28:7 AKJV)

Are you looking for help? Look to the Lord. He will be your strength and protection.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Corinthians 2:7-8 AKJV)

The devil slipped up when he sought to kill Jesus. Little did he know he was used to prepare for his ultimate demise and our salvation. God always knows what He is doing. Praise the Lord!

Wednesday, October 8, 2008
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” (Psalms 27:14 AKJV)

Don’t get in a hurry. Look to the Lord. He is always on time.

Thursday, October 9, 2008
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but to us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18 AKJV)

You won’t understand this verse unless you have been genuinely converted to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Pray to God that you will understand and give your life to Jesus today.

Friday, October 10, 2008
“For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” (1 Corinthians 2:2 AKJV)

The message of Christianity is simple, profound and powerful. It all centers on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Jesus is alive. Do you know Him?

Saturday, October 11, 2008
“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” (1 Corinthians 3:19-20 AKJV)

Real wisdom comes from God. Obey Him and His Word and you will see this to be true.

Sunday, October 12, 2008
“Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21:23 AKJV)

Watch what you say. It will save you a lot of trouble.

Monday, October 13, 2008
“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.” (Psalms 37:8 AKJV)

Let go of that anger. It will only hurt you. There is a better way. Let the peace of God rule your mind.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008
“Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (Psalms 37:4-5 AKJV)

This is the way life is to be lived. Seek the Lord and live life at its best.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008
“And now stays faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Corinthians 13:13 AKJV)

You can’t beat love. Love God and love others and you will experience God’s best for your life.

Thursday, October 16, 2008
“There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 AKJV)

You don’t have to give in to temptation. God will give you the power to overcome. “Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11 AKJV)

Friday, October 17, 2008
“Why let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” (1 Corinthians 10:12 AKJV)

Pride will lead to trouble. Keep a humble heart and trust God in all things.

Saturday, October 18, 2008
“Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31 AKJV)

This is the Christian life. Honor the Lord and you will find life at its best.

Sunday, October 19, 2008
“A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.” (Psalms 37:16 AKJV)

There are things that are more important than money. Think it over.

Monday, October 20, 2008
“Seek you the LORD while he may be found, call you on him while he is near:” (Isaiah 55:6 AKJV)

Do not ignore the Lord when He speaks to you. This may be your last chance.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008
“And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job 1:21 AKJV)

Job had it right. Life is fragile and it is short. Honor the Lord. He is the One who gives life.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008
“For they have refreshed my spirit and your’s: therefore acknowledge you them that are such.” (1 Corinthians 16:18 AKJV)

Let’s refresh the lives of others around us. Encourage someone today.

Thursday, October 23, 2008
“For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day on the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:” (Job 19:25-26 AKJV)

Job had faith and hope in God. Do you? Put your life in God’s hands and you will be ready for eternity.

Friday, October 24, 2008
“There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.” (Proverbs 21:30 AKJV)

You can’t go against God and win. Submit to Him and save yourself some grief.

Saturday, October 25, 2008
“Behold, you have made my days as an handbreadth; and my age is as nothing before you: truly every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.” (Psalms 39:5 AKJV)

Life goes by in a hurry and then there is eternity. Are you ready to meet God? You will be if you give your life to Jesus.

Sunday, October 26, 2008
“The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7 AKJV)

Debt can be a cruel task master. Be a good steward of what God has given you.

Monday, October 27, 2008
“And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” (Job 28:28 AKJV)

Here are words that will give you direction and priority. Think it over.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 AKJV)

We need to get back to God’s plan of rearing children. Teach the Bible and live a life consistent with what you teach.

Wednesday, October 29, 2008
“To whom you forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthians 2:10-11 AKJV)

An unforgiving heart is a delight to the devil. He can wreck many a life with that kind of thinking. Forgive and move on with a clear heart.

Thursday, October 30, 2008
“Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14 AKJV)

This is an important principle for any Christian. Marry one who loves the Lord and holds the same values. This will save you much grief. This should also be applied to any partnership in business.

Friday, October 31, 2008
“Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and you on earth: therefore let your words be few.” (Ecclesiastes 5:2 AKJV)

We need to be careful and thoughtful with our words. God is listening.

Saturday, November 1, 2008
“Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor that he takes under the sun all the days of his life, which God gives him: for it is his portion.” (Ecclesiastes 5:18 AKJV)

Work is a blessing. Thank the Lord that you can go to work. It is a gift from God.
