“Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35 AKJV)
God’s Word is eternal. You can depend on it. It is truth.
Monday, May 12, 2008
“And
many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity
shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure to the
end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:11-13 AKJV)
Real Christians stay with the Lord to the end. Are you a real Christian? Your
eternal destiny depends on this all important fact.
Tuesday, May 13, 2008
“Woe
to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you pay tithe of mint and anise
and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy,
and faith: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”
(Matthew 23:23 AKJV)
Don’t let mechanical religious observance get in the way of real Christianity. Our
hearts should be changed and tender toward the Lord and others. Faithfully
serve the Lord with the right heart.
Wednesday, May 14, 2008
“You
shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3 AKJV)
God is jealous. He is the One and only true God. He will not accept any other
condition.
Thursday, May 15, 2008
“Remember
the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” (Exodus 20:8 AKJV)
We are to set aside one day a week as an act of obedience to God. We should
worship Him and honor Him by obeying Him. If you are not doing this, you are
sinning against the Lord. Think it over.
Friday, May 16, 2008
“By the
word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath
of his mouth.” (Psalms 33:6 AKJV)
This world was created by God. This is no accident and neither are you.
Saturday, May 17, 2008
“And the LORD said to Moses,
Whoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” (Exodus 32:33
AKJV)
Sin
separates us from God. We must be born again to be right with God. Repent of
sin and commit your life to the Lord.
Sunday, May 18, 2008
“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my
mouth.” (Psalms 34:1 AKJV)
This is great medicine for the soul. Take a dose right now.
Monday, May 19, 2008
“The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers
them.” (Psalms 34:7 AKJV)
This is real security. Put your trust in the Lord. He can take care of you.
Tuesday, May 20, 2008
“Now when the centurion, and they
that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that
were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.” (Matthew
27:54 AKJV)
This is the greatest discovery of life. Jesus is truly the Son of God. Have you
made that personal discovery in your life? He alone can save you from Hell.
Wednesday, May 21, 2008
“Pilate
said to them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all
say to him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil has he
done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.” (Matthew
27:22-23 AKJV)
Why would people want to kill the One who loved and cared about them more than
anyone else? This is the question of the ages. All of us are inclined toward
evil and therefore we shun the goodness of God. We need the Lord to change our
hearts.
Thursday, May 22, 2008
“Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will
love you.” (Proverbs 9:8 AKJV)
Are you wise or are you foolish?
The proverb above will help you know who you really are.
Friday, May 23, 2008
“Then Moses said to Aaron, This is it that the LORD
spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come near me, and before all
the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.” (Leviticus 10:3
AKJV)
God is holy and He is to be glorified by His people. It is up to God’s leaders
to help His people understand this.
Saturday, May 24, 2008
“The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the
wicked shall rot.” (Proverbs 10:7 AKJV)
How will
people remember you? Think it over.
Sunday, May 25, 2008
“A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.”
(Psalms 37:16 AKJV)
There is more to life than money. Righteousness in the eyes of the Lord is what
makes a man truly rich.
Monday, May 26, 2008
“And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches,
and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes
unfruitful.” (Mark 4:19 AKJV)
Is your life being choked by the cares of this world? God has a better plan for
you. He wants you to trust and obey Him. He is the One who gives you eternal
life.
Tuesday, May 27, 2008
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in
his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD
upholds him with his hand.” (Psalms 37:23-24 AKJV)
God will take care of His own. Life will be hard but He will give you the grace
to make it now and forever.
Wednesday, May 28, 2008
“When Jesus heard it, he said to
them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are
sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Mark 2:17
AKJV)
Everyone is sick with sin and therefore is in need of the Lord Jesus. God is
holy and He will not tolerate sin. We must be forgiven and cleansed by the
Lord. Have you been made whole?
Thursday, May 29, 2008
“And he
said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” (Mark 2:27-28 AKJV)
You need to keep the Lord’s day. It is for your benefit. You need time to rest
and reflect on life and the One who gave you life. Be in church this Sunday.
You need it.
Friday, May 30, 2008
“But the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers,
and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns
with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8 AKJV)
Hell is real and many people are scheduled to go there unless they repent of
their sins and ask for God’s forgiveness in Jesus name. Are you ready for
eternity?
Saturday, May 31, 2008
“Yes, and all that will live
godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12 AKJV)
The
Christian life is no walk in the park. There is an earthly cost in following
Jesus but there is eternal life in Heaven. Our eyes are on forever.
Sunday, June 1, 2008
“And
you shall be holy to me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from
other people, that you should be mine.” (Leviticus 20:26 AKJV)
Christians are to be holy. Our Lord is holy and we represent Him.
Monday, June 2, 2008
“For whoever will save his life
shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s,
the same shall save it.” (Mark 8:35 AKJV)
Self and selfishness lead to destruction and eternal damnation in Hell.
Commitment to Jesus leads to eternal life. Where will you spend eternity?
Tuesday, June 3, 2008
“You shall keep my sabbaths, and
reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.” (Leviticus 19:30 AKJV)
Do you call yourself a follower of Jesus and yet you seldom set foot in church?
Repent. You defy the living Lord and you will have to give an account to Him
one day. Don’t trifle with God.
Wednesday, June 4, 2008
“You shall not make any cuttings
in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks on you: I am the LORD.”
(Leviticus 19:28 AKJV)
Did you know this was in the Bible? Think it over. Do you need to repent?
Thursday, June 5, 2008
“You shall not avenge, nor bear
any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your
neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.” (Leviticus 19:18 AKJV)
Do you love others? If not, repent and ask for the Lord to forgive you. If not,
you will face Him on Judgment Day and it will not be good.
Friday, June 6, 2008
“You shall not steal, neither
deal falsely, neither lie one to another. And you shall not swear by my name
falsely, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.”
(Leviticus 19:11-12 AKJV)
Breaking the commandments of God is serious. This action will send you to Hell
unless you come to the Lord and ask for His forgiveness and cleansing.
Saturday, June 7, 2008
“And when you reap the harvest of
your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall
you gather the gleanings of your harvest. And you shall not glean your
vineyard, neither shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall
leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus
19:9-10 AKJV)
Don’t spend all you make. Save some for the poor and share with others.
Sunday, June 8, 2008
“Defile not you yourselves in any
of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out
before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof
on it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.” (Leviticus 18:24-25
AKJV)
Does our nation make God sick to His stomach? Think it over. We may be headed
for a terrible judgment.
Monday, June 9, 2008
“You
shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (Leviticus
18:22 AKJV)
Sin is still sin no matter what current culture may say. God is still God and
we must all face Him one day.
Tuesday, June 10, 2008
“For from within, out of the
heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts,
covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy,
pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the
man.” (Mark 7:21-23 AKJV)
We are in desperate need of the holiness of God or we are doomed to eternal
Hell. Jesus help us.
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
“He answered and said to them,
Well has Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people
honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” (Mark 7:6 AKJV)
Anybody can talk the talk of religion. Are we living the life? This is the
question.
Thursday, June 12, 2008
“And
Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward
them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach
them many things.” (Mark 6:34 AKJV)
Are you confused and seeking help? Jesus loves you. He has what you need. Call
out to Him now.
Friday, June 13, 2008
“I waited patiently for the LORD;
and he inclined to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an
horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established
my goings.” (Psalms 40:1-2 AKJV)
God can do the same for you. Commit your all to Him now.
Saturday, June 14 , 2008
“LORD,
make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know
how frail I am.” (Psalms 39:4 AKJV)
Life is fragile and short. Next is eternity. Are you ready to meet God? Think
it over.
