“Therefore I love your commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold.” (Psalms 119:127 AKJV)

God’s Word is a treasure. It will help you with the decisions of life. Read it and follow it.

“Pilate said to him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, I find in him no fault at all.” (John 18:38 AKJV)

Truth is a precious commodity. You can find it in Jesus’ life and in the Bible. “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 AKJV)

Tuesday, August 7, 2007
“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.” (Psalms 119:105 AKJV)

You don’t have to stumble in the darkness of life’s problems. God is ready and willing to help you into the light of His love and care for you.

Wednesday, August 8, 2007
“These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 AKJV)

Jesus can give us peace in the midst of life’s struggles. Christians are not exempt from problems but have the assurance of God’s presence in the time of trials. Let the Lord help you. He loves you too.

Thursday, August 9, 2007
“And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.” (Acts 16:30-31 AKJV)

The only way to be saved from Hell is by giving your life to Jesus. Have you been saved?

Friday, August 10, 2007
“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:16-17 AKJV)

God’s people are never alone. God is faithful to stand by His people. It is great to know the Lord.

Saturday, August 11, 2007
“For you have possessed my reins: you have covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well.” (Psalms 139:13-14 AKJV)

You are no accident. You were made in the image of God. He made you and He loves you.

Sunday, August 12, 2007
“And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulcher. But God raised him from the dead: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.” (Acts 13:29-31 AKJV)

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is an established fact of history. He is the way to eternal life in Heaven because he overcame sin, death and the grave.

Monday, August 13, 2007
“And Elijah came to all the people, and said, How long halt you between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” (1 Kings 18:21 AKJV)

You can’t be neutral with God. You are either with Him or against Him. Where do you stand?

Tuesday, August 14, 2007
“And as they went on their way, they came to a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” (Acts 8:36-37 AKJV)

Baptism is for those who know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Have you been baptized since you were saved?

Wednesday, August 15, 2007
“The LORD is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.” (Psalms 145:18 AKJV)

What a comfort to know that the Lord is near. Call on Him and experience His presence and peace.

Thursday, August 16, 2007
“Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yes, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.” (Psalms 144:15 AKJV)

Are you looking for genuine happiness? Here is your answer.

Friday, August 17, 2007

Hope is wonderful. Everyone can be hopeful if they put their faith in Jesus.

Saturday, August 18, 2007
“Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.” (Proverbs 17:1 AKJV)

Our homes would be much better if we emphasized peace over possessions. Let the peace of the Lord rule your heart and home.

Sunday, August 19, 2007
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.” (Psalms 4:8 AKJV)

Faith in God gives rest to the soul. Trust God and have a good night’s sleep.

Monday, August 20, 2007
“He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.” (Psalms 2:4-5 AKJV)

God has the final word. His judgment is sure and certain. He is not to be taken lightly.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007
“Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility.” (Proverbs 18:12 AKJV)

Pride will destroy. Humility will lead to life and honor. This is God’s way.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007
“Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.” (Psalms 1:1-2 AKJV)

Do you want to be blessed? Here is the key. Obey the Lord and be filled with His blessings.

Thursday, August 23, 2007

God will protect His own and provide for His own. It is great to be a child of the Lord.

Friday, August 24, 2007
“He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” (Psalms 147:3-5 AKJV)

The Lord is awesome and compassionate. It is a privilege to know and serve Him.

Saturday, August 25, 2007
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:” (Psalms 146:3-5 AKJV)

Smart people put their trust in the eternal God and not in finite man.

Sunday, August 26, 2007
“He made a pit, and dig it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return on his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own pate.” (Psalms 7:15-16 AKJV)

Troublemakers make the most trouble for themselves. Be pleasant and be kind and save yourself a lot of trouble.

“Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD.” (Proverbs 18:22 AKJV)

Tell your wife what a blessing she is. She is a gift from the Lord.

Tuesday, August 28, 2007
“Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?” (Acts 26:8 AKJV)

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the most important fact of history. In Him we hope and assurance of eternal life in Heaven when we place our lives in His hands.

Wednesday, August 29, 2007
“A man that has friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24 AKJV)

Are you looking for friends? Here is the key. Don’t forget that Jesus is the best friend you could ever have.

Thursday, August 30, 2007
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained; What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?” (Psalms 8:3-4 AKJV)

God is almighty but He knows and cares about you. What a wonderful thought.

Friday, August 31, 2007
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 AKJV)

Heaven is a wonderful place. Are you going there? “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 AKJV)

Saturday, September 1, 2007
“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” (Psalms 9:9 AKJV)

The Lord can give you the peace and security you need. Give your burdens to Him.

Sunday, September 2, 2007
“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” (Psalms 9:17 AKJV)

Hell is a real place and it is not on this earth. It should be taken seriously. Make plans to avoid it at all cost. Give your life to Jesus.

Monday, September 3, 2007
“A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall not escape.” (Proverbs 19:5 AKJV)

Tuesday, September 4, 2007
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 AKJV)

Jesus arose from the dead to never die again. He is our hope for eternal life in Heaven. This is the greatest news on earth. Jesus came to save us from an eternal Hell. Commit your life to Jesus.

Wednesday, September 5, 2007
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” (Romans 1:22 AKJV)

We live in such a world today. People go stupid when they leave God out of the picture. This is God’s world and we should know that we are accountable to Him.

Thursday, September 6, 2007
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” (Romans 1:18 AKJV)

God will judge sin in His time. Don’t mistake God’s patience for weakness. There will be a day of Judgment. Are you ready to meet God?

Friday, September 7, 2007
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 AKJV)

Jesus loves you. You need Him in your life. Without Him you will spend eternity in Hell.
