“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: for my soul trusts in you: yes, in the shadow of your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be over.” (Psalms 57:1 AKJV)

The Lord will take care of you.  Rest in the shadows of His wings.

Monday, May 28, 2007

“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do to me.” (Psalms 56:11 AKJV)

God is over all and He can take care of you. Fear not. God loves you.

Tuesday, May 29, 2007

“And he said to them, Be not affrighted: You seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16:6 AKJV)

Jesus arose from the dead to never die again. This is the most important fact of history. Do you know the resurrected Jesus? He wants to be the Lord of your life too.

Wednesday, May 30, 2007
“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that does good.” (Psalms 53:1 AKJV)

Don’t be foolish. Put your life in the hands of the One who made you. He has a wonderful plan for your life.

Thursday, May 31, 2007
“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivers from death.” (Proverbs 11:4 AKJV)

The state of your soul is more important than the balance in your checkbook. Think it over and commit your life to the Lord Jesus.

Friday, June 1, 2007

“And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.” (Mark 14:54 AKJV)

Peter got into trouble because he followed Jesus from afar. We too can have the same problem. Draw near to Jesus and He help you in the time of trouble.

 Saturday, June 2, 2007

“And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said to him, Follow me. And he left all, rose up, and followed him.” (Luke 5:27-28 AKJV)

Jesus wants you to follow Him also. There is no better one to follow. You can trust Him. He loves you.

Sunday, June 3, 2007

“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.” (Luke 5:16 AKJV)

If Jesus felt the need to pray, shouldn’t we? Take time to pray.

Monday, June 4, 2007

“O you that hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come.” (Psalms 65:2 AKJV)

God answers prayer. He wants to hear from you. “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.” (Jeremiah 33:3 AKJV)

Tuesday, June 5, 2007

“When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” (Luke 5:8 AKJV)

We need this kind of awe and respect for Jesus today. He is God and we must honor Him as such.

Wednesday, June 6, 2007

“But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.” (Numbers 32:23 AKJV)

Sin has consequences. Repent today before the consequences exact a high price from you.

Thursday, June 7, 2007

“O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;” (Psalms 63:1 AKJV)

That emptiness you feel, may be a longing for God. Call out to God. Meet Him afresh every morning.

Friday, June 8, 2007

“And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (Luke 4:4 AKJV)

This is a profound truth. There is power and ultimate wisdom in God’s Word. Obey Him. He knows what is best.

Saturday, June 9, 2007

“If a man vow a vow to the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.” (Numbers 30:2 AKJV)

Are you keeping your word with God? Think it over. He is keeping His Word to you. Obey the Lord.

Sunday, June 10, 2007

“Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge: but he that hates reproof is brutish.” (Proverbs 12:1 AKJV)

The word brutish could be translated stupid. Be teachable. Trust God and His Word and you will be glad you did.

Monday, June 11, 2007

“O God, you know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from you.” (Psalms 69:5 AKJV)

Ponder this truth. Repent of sin and accept God’s forgiveness through Jesus. We all need to be forgiven by the Lord.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” (Psalms 68:19 AKJV)

Be grateful. We owe the Lord so much. Serve the Lord with gladness.

Wednesday, June 13, 2007

“You shall have none other gods before me.” (Deuteronomy 5:7 AKJV)

This is the first commandment. “Before me” literally means in my presence. He is not number one, He is the One and only true God. Don’t break the first commandment.

Thursday, June 14, 2007

“Neither shall you steal. Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbor.” (Deuteronomy 5:19-20 AKJV)

One who steals is a thief and one who lies is a liar. God will permit neither in Heaven. Only salvation given to us by Jesus will deliver us from an eternal Hell. Where will you spend eternity?

Friday, June 15, 2007

“He that trusts in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.” (Proverbs 11:28 AKJV)

Money can not buy you salvation and security. Faith in Jesus will. Put your faith in Jesus.

Saturday, June 16, 2007

“And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46 AKJV)

Do you call yourself a Christian and live by the standards of the world? Something is wrong with this picture. Think it over.

Sunday, June 17, 2007

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 AKJV)

Every Dad should be passing and living this information on to their children. There is nothing more valuable than a Godly heritage.

Monday, June 18, 2007

“For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.” (Psalms 75:6-7 AKJV)

God is still on the throne and He has everything under control. Trust God and He will take care of you.

Tuesday, June 19, 2007

“The day is yours, the night also is yours: you have prepared the light and the sun. You have set all the borders of the earth: you have made summer and winter.” (Psalms 74:16-17 AKJV)

God is awesome. You can count on Him. It is wise to trust Him with our lives.

Wednesday, June 20, 2007

“And Jesus said to him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 AKJV)

Being a disciple of Jesus is not a flippant decision. You must mean business.

Thursday, June 21, 2007

“When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.” (Psalms 73:16-17 AKJV)

Life is hard to figure. This is why we need to be in God’s house to hear God’s Word. Life will then begin to make sense.

Friday, June 22, 2007

“For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?” (Luke 9:25 AKJV)

There is nothing more important than your soul. It is eternal and headed for either Heaven or Hell. Put your trust in Jesus so you can be in Heaven.

Saturday, June 23, 2007

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23 AKJV)

Following Jesus is a life time commitment. Are you His follower?

Sunday, June 24, 2007

“You, even you, are to be feared: and who may stand in your sight when once you are angry?” (Psalms 76:7 AKJV)

We must take God seriously. He is to be feared, honored and worshipped.

Monday, June 25, 2007

“And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9 AKJV)

Jesus invites us to pray. It will make a difference. Pray now and pray often.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007

“I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt: open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.” (Psalms 81:10 AKJV)

God is able to meet every need. Call out to Him and see what He can do in your life.

Wednesday, June 27, 2007

“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.” (Luke 15:10 AKJV)

Please note that it is not the angels that are rejoicing. They are present as God Himself rejoices. God wants all to come to Him and be saved. It’s your choice. Come now before it is too late.

Thursday, June 28, 2007

“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” (Joshua 1:8 AKJV)

Here is the real recipe for success for time and eternity. Think it over.

Friday, June 29, 2007

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 AKJV)

Are you looking for peace? Here it is. Put your mind and trust in God’s capable hands.

Saturday, June 30, 2007

“I tell you, No: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3 AKJV)

People must turn away from sin if they are seeking to turn to God. Have you done that?
